Gavin Hastings, OBE
Chairman
Gavin Hastings, OBE, is a former Scotland and British & Irish Lions rugby player. He played ten seasons of International Rugby as an amateur, whilst working for much of this time as a Chartered Surveyor with CBRE. After retiring from rugby, he started his own sports marketing and events management business and worked successfully to bring a number of high profile events to Scotland, including the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. Since selling that business, Gavin has worked as a Consultant and Ambassador for global blue chip companies, including HSBC, Standard Life Investments and Aberdeen Asset Management. A keen golfer - particularly on the links of East Lothian.
Michael Price
Managing Director
Michael Price is a founding partner of Hastings Investment Management. Following University at Dundee and an initial career in Fund Management in London, he founded Price Ferguson Wealth Management in 1997. He has steadily and successfully built his company with his partners over the past 25 years, primarily serving the people of Surrey where the company is based. Michael is an enthusiastic (middling...) golfer.
David Home
Financial Advisor
David qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Tax with Johnston Carmichael LLP in Edinburgh. Prior to joining Hastings Investment he worked at London Wall Partners LLP specialising in providing integrated strategic financial planning and investment management to individuals, families, and trusts. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning. When he is not working, David can be found golfing – primarily in East Lothian.
Stephen Titterington
Financial Advisor
Born in Belfast, educated in Scotland and after an initial career in Banking Stephen moved into Financial Services in the late 1980s. Founded Brodie MacLean in Edinburgh in 1997 which he ran and then merged into Johnstone Carmichael Wealth in 2015. Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of CII and STEP IFA Qualified. Married to Nicola with three children and spends any spare time enjoying Theatre, Cinema and travel…a keen golfer.
Maurice Breen
Marketing Director
Maurice has a wealth of Marketing experience, and has led Marketing and Sales teams for Heineken, C&C Group (Magners), Edrington, Nestlé and Unilever in the UK and internationally. He provides support for the development of Hastings Investment based in central Edinburgh. .
